The Best Brunch Spots In Singapore

Brunch is one of the best parts of the weekend, whether it’s with friends, sharing dishes with your significant other or simply enjoying your own company. Thankfully, Singapore has plenty of brunch spots, from deli-cafes to buffets. Here are some of our top picks. [caption id="attachment_21151" align="alignnone" width="300"] Brunch Singapore

Populus

Signified by the enormous queues that always seem to form outside, Populus has some pretty spectacular pancakes, smoothie bowls, donburi rice bowls and scrambled egg dishes. The pancakes, made with buckwheat, deserve a post all of their own thanks to their perfect pairing with berry compote and passionfruit curd. Add maple syrup and edible flowers and you’re good to go.

Common Man Coffee Roasters

One of the staples on the Singapore cafe scene, Common Man serves an all-day brunch as well as plenty of coffee to start your day. Their eggs benedict is one of the in-house favorites, served with braised ox cheeks, poached eggs and homemade hollandaise. Served with sourdough and rocket salad, this may be the best thing about your weekend.

Nassim Hill Bakery Bistro

Curiously located inside a post office, Nassim Hill Bakery Bistro is more than just a cafe. It is also a bakery, deli, takeaway and bar. Their brunch menu is heavy-duty, complete with all the favorites like eggs benedict but they also have quite the selection of sandwiches. If you order a sandwich, try the almond brioche or the cheddar cheese soft bread. [caption id="attachment_21153" align="alignnone" width="300"]Brunch Singapore Brunch Singapore

The Providore Raffles Place

So much more than just a restaurant, The Providore also includes a cooking school, cafe, deli, bakery and grocery ‘The Establishment’. It is from here that all the produce used in the cafe is sourced. The scenery is beautiful and being in the heart of Raffles Place means that you get to experience the best of Singapore people-watching. Highly recommended are their ricotta pancakes and croque madame.

Sarnies

Started by an Ozzie, Sarnies serves an excellent fry up as well as delicious smoked salmon with scrambled eggs. They cure their own bacon in house and you can guarantee crisp perfection, and their eggs are always cooked exactly right. Complete with baked beans, you can guarantee an old-fashioned breakfast.

Drury Lane

Drury Lane is particularly homely, with relaxing decor, rustic cutlery and heavy wooden tables. You can quite easily spend the whole day in Drury Lane, it’s that laidback. Their signature dish is salted egg yolk eggs benedict with grilled prawns. Jumping on the back of the salted egg craze that is all over Asia, the salted eggs benedict is paired perfectly with kale and salty prawns. Another highly recommended dish is the baked eggs with smoked trout and capers, complete with homemade baked beans. Comfort food at it’s best.

Cafe Melba

If you are looking for somewhere to enjoy with your family, then look no further than Cafe Melba. Thanks to the inflatable bouncy castles and open spaces for your kids to run around, you can rest assured that the kids are entertained whilst you enjoy your brunch. Their best dish is the eggs benedict but the smoked salmon and scrambled eggs won’t disappoint either.
