Bangkok Jam
If you want something spicy or sweet, head over to Bangkok Jam for some Thai classics. Their green curry is spectacular, as well as their tom yum soup, and is served with delicious jasmine rice. The Thai fish cake also comes highly recommended, so order double!
Uya
If you prefer the clean tastes of Japanese food, then head over to Uya where you can try unagi don. Eel served on top of rice, you can actually see the whole process from preparation to cooking. Privé
If you prefer to sit back with a drink in hand, then Privé is the place to be. They have happy hour from 5-8pm, with promotions on house alcohol as well as a great menu of bar snacks. The sangria is excellent and goes especially well with the crab cakes.

House of Robert Timms
All day breakfast is on the menu here, so you can choose from pancakes, a fried chicken waffle burger or meatballs with unicorn cheese. Full of calories but also with plenty of taste, Robert Timms is one of the more famous Australian cafes in the city.

Style Vibes
If you prefer something a little more local, this cafe has laksa by the bucketload, as well as some Western favorites. Their desserts are also to die for, so if you want a touch of Singapore, then this place is right where you need to be.

NYDC
This American style restaurant is famous for its mudpies, baked prawns and cajun chicken alfredo. If you have a really big appetite, try the meatball pasta where the meatballs are as big as your fist. Whilst having plenty of options for main courses, it is the desserts that really take the biscuit (pun not intended).

Nam Nam Noodle Bar
If you want some classic Vietnamese food, then head to Nam Nam. They specialise in noodles, pho and banh mi. Try the Hanoi Pho, spicy mince meat pork ball noodles and soy braised chicken noodles. Cheap as well as tasty, Nam Nam is extremely popular with savvy food hunters and will often be packed.
